New HTA Board Members – Donald Macleod

The Harris Tweed® Family means everything to us, and we warmly welcome the last of our three new protectors of the Harris Tweed® brand and industry to our Board – meet Donald Macleod.
Donald told us that he is “delighted to be joining the Board of the Harris Tweed Authority. The Board plays a vital role in protecting Harris Tweed® and developing the industry, and I look forward to working with my fellow Board members on this.”
We do hope to, eventually, offer Donald a warmer welcome to the board here in Stornoway, in person, and when it is safe to do so. Until then, our video conference meetings will do just fine. The HTA board is made up of volunteers who understand the vital role of the Harris Tweed Authority in protecting the Harris Tweed® industry as a sustainable part of our local economy.
