A Perfect Finish

5th August

“Examining the tweed for finish”

The sharp-eyed finishing stage of the Harris Tweed® process where the fabric is checked for any flaws or inconsistencies. We love this moment as they ladies stifle a laugh as they work. A daydreaming schoolchild looks to the window, too young to help just yet. After the tweed has been examined, it is pressed and cropped to a perfect, flawless condition.
