Why is family important to the business? Our core team has over 50 years experience in the clothing industry. Customers who contact us like our ‘family owned and operated’ story and know that they’re talking to a family member.
How do you select your fabrics? Each year we travel to Scotland to visit the mills on the island. This is important because we get to collaborate in person to select and develop colours and designs that will feature in the seasonal collections.
How did you first discover Harris Tweed® cloth? Because of our history in the textile industry we’ve always been aware of the allure of Harris Tweed® cloth. In the past we felt it was not given the respect it deserved and very often was looked upon as a fabric reserved only for classic gentleman’s sports jackets. Now, we have developed not only menswear, but ladieswear too, in vibrant colours and modern shapes and styles.
Why is Yorkshire important to your business? Yorkshire and Leeds have an incredible history of textile and garment manufacturing and we are very proud to be a part of that. We also find inspiration in the natural beauty of the surrounding Yorkshire countryside in the same way the landscapes of the Outer Hebrides are woven into Harris Tweed® cloth.

We’ve carefully sourced heritage fabrics from Scotland and Yorkshire for classic coats and tailored suiting of unrivalled quality.
