The Harris Tweed® Journal

Building Blocks

14th February

Today’s colour match takes inspiration from the most fundamental element of our Hebridean landscapes – Lewisian Gneiss. One of the oldest rocks in the world and the building blocks of what shapes these islands. Ancient lines of grey and white etch these beautiful wave-tumbled boulders, some peppered with a delicate sparkle of pink quartz.

From the land, comes the cloth.

This featured Harris Tweed® fabric was handwoven by independent weaver Seaforth Harris Tweed. For more information visit https://www.harristweed.org/buy-harris-tweed/
