The Harris Tweed® Journal

Chapel Ruins

3rd March

Soft green grass and lichen creep round the edges of the chapel ruins.
Muffled greens and golds intertwine in the gentle lines of this Harris Tweed® plain twill.

One of our Harris Tweed Authority inspectors – Calum Stewart – took this photo of Teampall Eoin (St. John’s Chapel) in Bragar Cemetery on the west side of the Isle of Lewis. The chapel possibly dates back as far as the 15th century.
