Royal Highland Show ’23 visitors
23rd June
What a fantastic first day we had at the Royal Highland Show – it was great to see so many enthusiastic and interested visitors to our marquee.
This is Lewis based vet Joanna, who had a try of our loom.
It was great to reunite with an old friend of the Harris Tweed Authority, Kenny Maclennan (former HTA lead inspector) who is pictured with our CEO Lorna.
We also had a lovey visit from a school in Dunbar with island connections.
Finally, we had veteran weaver Donald John Macleod from Tolsta Chaolais on the Isle of Lewis, who visited the stand and took a turn on the loom. Donald was attending the Royal Highland Show with other island crofters from a Lewis sheep producers group.
