The Harris Tweed® Journal

Word of the Week: Garman

11th March

Today’s Harris Tweed® word of the week is ‘garman’ or ‘crann’.

The ‘garman’ refers to the warp beam that sits at the back of the loom. This delivers the warp through the loom for weaving.
